Daily communication and connections can happen through a knowledge commons such as Slack. Set a routine for a daily or weekly team video chat that allows for business overview and a designated time for sharing team wins. Not everyone is a big-picture thinker, but they can be taught how to see and establish a future vision. Let them know why it is important to visualize and forecast a desired future. Once they understand the why, teach them how to apply strategy mapping and planning to establish the roadmap for execution.
